Local Company to perform JANE EYRE at The Festival Theatre

Wednesday 1st June at 7.30pm

Edenbridge based ‘Another Way Theatre’ present Polly Teale’s striking adaptation of Charlotte Bronte’s classic novel JANE EYRE.

Following her journey from orphan to adulthood this production revels in the passion of one of literature’s most loved heroines.  Originally produced by experimental theatre company, Shared Experience, this bold and exciting retelling of Jane’s struggle for freedom against all odds continues to inspire.

‘Another Way Theatre’ bravely produced new play BETWEEN FRIENDS at The Causeway Hall last July just out of lockdown and are passionate about bringing quality theatre to their local community. Chris and Nicky Chambers are delighted to have the opportunity to perform locally once again with a strong professional cast and crew at The Two Sister’s Theatre at Hever Castle before heading south to the world famous Minack Theatre.  www.minack.com/whats-on/jane-eyre

The majority of seats are under cover and prices range from £15-£17.50 (discounts for members).  Tickets are available from the on-line Box Office www.heverfestival.co.uk/index.php/jane-eyre or by phoning 07379 488477.

Why not book a pre-theatre supper in The Guthrie Pavillion or combine your visit with a day trip strolling round beautiful Hever Castle – or both.  One performance only on Wednesday 1st June at 7.30pm – an experience not to be missed whilst supporting your local theatre.

‘Bold and brave and convincing… a visit will be truly rewarding’ Hamlet, The Cornishman

‘Entering The Causeway Hall, the audience are immediately transported into an amazing rural kitchen, so brilliantly created by local designer Jill Wilson you truly believe you are in someone’s house. Covering so many relatable issues, matched with beautiful subtle performances this play was a welcome return to theatre. Between Friends, Lucy Jones
