Wheels of Time: 25 FREE badges to collect in Kent

Children aged 5-11 visiting any of the 25 Wheels of Time venues, launched in April, will be given a different badge at each site, showing the site’s logo or related picture.  A map featuring the Wheels of Time mascot, ‘Roamin Rex’, guides children to all of the sites.

Children who have collected 10 badges will be awarded Roamin’ Rex’s Bronze Award Badge, and when they have 20 badges they will receive a Silver Award Badge.

Wheels of Time is recognised as a Kent Children’s University Learning Activity, and many of the sites can give Learning Credits to children registered with Children’s University.

Roamin Rex’s map, showing all of the participating sites, can be collected from any of the sites, some Tourist Information Centres or downloaded from the Wheels of Time website, wheelsoftime.uk

Eden Valley MuseumMuseum Tour

Starting in May 2017, we are offering a brand new way to explore the museum’s collection. On the first Thursday of the month, join a member of our Museum Team for a 30 minute tour which spans the history of the Eden Valley. The tour will take you from Stone Age artefacts to modern-day local heroes.

Each tour is free and starts at 10.30am, no booking required. Join us for the inaugural tour on Thursday 4th May!

Coffee Morning

On the first Saturday of every month join us for a special open morning.  Enjoy a visit to the museum, refreshments and share your memories and experiences of the Eden Valley.

Alongside tea and cake we will bring out objects and photos not currently on display and allow you to handle the collection.

Entry is free, first come first served (limited to 10 visitors, no booking required).  Join us for the first Coffee Morning 11-1pm on Saturday 6th May.
