Based in Edenbridge, Professional Plumbing & Heating Services (PPHS) have been trading since April 2014 and are boiler specialists.
The PPHS team is led by Pete (who can do everything), supported by Connor and Tommy, their new apprentice. Running everything from the office is Sarah (Pete’s wife) who deals with all the admin and bookings.
Pete and Sarah moved to Edenbridge 10 years ago and have 3 children who attend the local schools. As a family, they all enjoy getting involved in local community activities. You may have seen them at this year’s Motor Show where they were sponsors and they are also Gold Sponsors of the Edenbridge Bonfire event.
Pete followed his father and grandfather into the heating industry, originally as a pipe fitter doing commercial heating and pipe welding. He completed two years of heating & ventilating and two years of welding at Croydon college, gaining a City and Guilds qualification. Following that he completed an apprenticeship under Crown House Engineering Croydon, winning ‘Apprentice of the Year’ two years running before going to work for his father, undertaking domestic heating and gas appliance work.
After many years working for various companies and gaining vast knowledge and experience in the industry, Pete decided to go on his own. With the support of Sarah he started PPHS in 2014 to create a business that was reliable, building a great clientele, and supporting family life.
The business has grown considerably, and when Pete’s father retired, he took on the customers from the original family business.
The plumbing and heating industry has changed over the last 3 decades and PPHS have completed courses in renewables and heat pump technology to keep up-to-date.
Although PPHS offer a range of services to clients, the team are specialists in boiler installation and heating. They sometimes come across the occasional back boiler that a less experienced fitter would struggle with and where experience is essential.
